Jayshree Ullal is a British-American billionaire businesswoman who serves as the President and CEO of Arista Networks, a position she has held since 2008. As of late 2025, she is recognized as the wealthiest Indian-origin professional manager in the world, with a net worth estimated at ₹50,170 crore ($5.7 billion), surpassing prominent tech leaders like Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai.

Arista Networks (2008–Present): Joined as founding CEO when the company was a small startup and led it through a historic IPO in 2014. Under her leadership, Arista has become a multi-billion dollar leader in data-driven cloud networking for data centers and AI environments.

Cisco Systems (1993–2008): Served as Senior Vice President, managing a $10 billion business unit focused on data center switching and services. She joined Cisco after its acquisition of Crescendo Communications, where she was VP of Marketing.

Early Career: Held engineering and strategy roles at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Fairchild Semiconductor, and Ungermann-Bass.

Early Life: Born on March 27, 1961, in London and raised in New Delhi, India, where she attended the Convent of Jesus and Mary. Her father was a physicist who helped establish the first five Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Degrees: Holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Francisco State University and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University (1986).

Awards: Recipient of the Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from Santa Clara University in 2025. Other honors include being named one of Barrons Worlds Best CEOs and one of Forbes Americas Richest Self-Made Women.
